Omega Time war by Time-Lord-Rassilon Omega Time war by Time-Lord-Rassilon
This is a design for the resurrected Omega in full colour from his days in the time war. I hope you guys like.

Yes (his mouth moves-nod to Arc of Infinity Budget constraints..LOL) a robotic mask is what he wears, though his voice is slightly modulated, it sounds more like an englishman, then a Dalek, or Cyberman.. He is highly intelligent, and thinks in terms outside of the normal. His plans are multilayered and he is more then a match for the Doctor, and the one Timelord who could have survived the Timewar, even if his newly forged body was destroyed. What if Omega decided to forge a new body, one made from a Tardis validium, a living metal body, which could tie itself to time and the vortex!

Let's see...

The first Omega took at least 3 doctors to defeat... How many will this take?

TARDIS Validium is a special hybrid material, actually. It's made of not just Validium but other materials as well. Pure Validium on the other hand, as shown in the episode featuring Nemesis, was made to be a weapon with extremely destructive potential.

I always found it fascinating how Nemesis asked the doctor for her freedom. That was the basis for my character, which is, in fact, a living validium statue.

Interesting. I wonder if the hand of Omega was also validium

I believe it was. Validium was an incredible element that they created which allowed for so many new possibilities. I believe that Validium is one of the foundations of Timelord technology since it is part of so many different things now, like the TARDIS shell.

The interior circuits and such, I believe are made of nonatomic matter (Due to block transfer) Except for a few elements like mercury, and the specially made exitonic circuitry that is 'implanted' into the ship during it's creation/birthing process. Apparently Exitonic circuitry is very much like plastic...not exactly sure what that means but it would need to be able to carry some kind of signal, possibly artronic in nature, to actually function. Possibly like some kind of plastic nerves?

maybe similar to optic cable, using light signals as a way to transfer data? flickering off and on for 1's and 0's..

Also, a touch of history: Modern timelords have lost the secret behind making validium. Validium was a joint project between Rasillon and Omega, before things went sour and 'bad stuff happened'.

My character himself is one of the early batches, but I have this theory in the back of my head he may have been originally designed to be a self delivering warhead type of Validium weapon, which would necessarily include the minimum elements for temporal travel in a manner similiar to a TARDIS. This may have been a bit of early design which ended up being absorbed into the TARDIS systems they were also working on. In the end, my character is missing all of those elements and is just that specially designed batch of Validium, instead. As a result, he was very intelligent and self capable, and ended up being used as property and a servant to many timelords throughout his lifetime. Romana ended up obtaining ownership of him, and ended up sending him off with her TARDIS during the time war...possibly as part of a kind of secure capsule to try and save some of the Timelord culture, archives, and artifacts. (not sure on this last part, it's kind of a possible but I haven't really said one way or another.)

In general I took as many clues from the episode featuring Nemesis that I could, and made a complete character out of it with heavy speculation that I believe sits in the intended direction of the show. I fantasize sometimes about the BBC featuring something very much like my character helping the doctor in some way. It'd be nice to see a 'good' Validium statue come about, instead of just Nemesis who was responsible for several cataclysmic events throughout history.

Omega could have survived because he isn't necessarily a Time Lord. He's been called the first Time Lord but that distinction might go to Rassilon. Omega is something else; a creator. He never got to use the technology he developed, because he was immediately sucked into a black hole.

Exultant work, a true incarnation of the most dangerous Time Lord to ever live. If there is one consent it is that Omega's will to survive is equaled.

You are most welcome, however I would like to know what the rings are for? I thought they are some kind of weapon like Rassilon's gantlet. Anti-matter weapons perhaps?

Good question, I was waiting see when someone was gonna notice that..

Actually, the rings are living metal and can take what ever shape is focused on psychically, the ring takes that form. Each ring has a rudimentary form of time, regeneration, and various other power sources built into their crystals. These rings are an ancient development created by Omega based on the elixir of life and guidance of the Pythia from the planet Karn, and the sphere's below his belt contain the potion's of life.

Omega had been given this knowledge in the early days, before his demise at Qqaba. Upon his return to a corporeal form during the time war within his armour suit, Omega sought his family lands, and retrieved his ancient relics. However, four of these rings are stolen..

1. We saw the Doctor had one during his first incarnation.

2. We saw the Master use one to create a new body.

there are two more..

The Belt controls the frequency in which his suit manifests itself physically by modulating the waves of particles. This vibration is the only way Omega can manifest himself, and eventually regrow his body within it.

It could be possible that during the TimeWar, Omega made new rings that were anti-matter weapons of mast destruction.I often thought it would be cool as a show of his power, Omega could just use the rings to flick anti-matter and everything exposed or cease to exist in some horrible way.

So far every Time Lord villain that has returned in the new series has gained a signature weapon/tool. The Master got a laser screwdriver(I think mostly to make fun of the Doctor), Rassilon got the gauntlet, so why not Omega with his anti-matter rings?

That is the seal of Omega.. He wore it during his return against the 5th Doctor.

The War-Chief was also wearing a symbol during the War Games with the 2nd Doctor.
