Tardis Schematic File 001 by Time-Lord-Rassilon Tardis Schematic File 001 by Time-Lord-Rassilon
Edit: I decided to redo that design and give you guys a proper 11TH doctor's Tardis.. I was hasty in my first design.. this one has some additional perks, which I will add to another supplemental Tardis Tool Kit later..I decided to reboot my earlier Tardis schematics and Blue Prints and just do character ships.. specific to the Dcotor, the Master, the Rani, compassion, war tardises, and Rassilon, and so on.. so please ignore the earlier uploads.. they do not matter.. this design has the power output and usage charts removed.. I decided I would add that info later in the Engine schematics only file I will do later.. now on to doing the top side view design! :headbang:

Here is the Blueprint in a black and white image (a Schematic)..a detailed Tardis break down will be uploaded today as well.. basically each part so you can do your own tardis schematic or a tool sheet if you will..

The Tardis Rooms are dimensional bridges linked to other sections and rooms in those various areas.. so it seems endless. you could be on one side of the massive structure and end up walking through the furthest part of the massive round structure and end up in another section and thousands of more rooms and levels..

My son commented you have too much time on your hands. Still I like this representation of the Tardis. No one really knows what the structure looks like and I suppose it can be any configuration it wishes. I have always loved mechanical drawings and I really appreciate the effort and imagination you put into this particular project.

Just so you know, if this was available for print, I know at least 3 people who would buy it. I just love this. It's amazing.

I have been away, sorry..

I have a new direction which will out do my older ship designs, and makes much more sense as to what the Tardis truly is..

Here is the beginning basics of what the ship is and the start of the Tardis Technical manual. This is the basic concept, the actual ship itself will be drawn next, with supplemental explanations..

I will still be doing the Time Lord Compendium, just slowly updating it over time..

Sorry I was away.. LOL.. actually I made most of this stuff up based on my limited knowledge and rationalizations of what I thought the ship could be..

Now of course I know different..

These are epic as always my friend but I gotta be honest I like your pillar version of Tardis better.

yea... do not worry, I got something that will bury the pillar version, and will seem more appropriate given what we know of time lord architecture..

your work is without equal, and fits the description of the machine almost to a "T" per the 7th doctor's adventures novel..

however, the orb design in the Tardis I am working on is a globe with the lines making the orbs look more 3D, it was not intended to infringe on your amazingly awesome cross section..

however... my view of the ship does differ from yours in that I don't like the idea of the Tardis being a bunch of smaller rooms connected together, as it doesn't fit the classic ideal which had lots of corridoors and hallways.. and it seems inefficient for the Tardis to be able to generate power for each little sphere when it could just create a massive empty room section and then rearrange and configure each massive section more easily according to it's architectural design program, and create rooms here and there or complete environments...when in one massive round section you can cross to others via a dimensional bridge, and so the structure seems endless..

also from what I have read the engines of the machine are massive and so is the containment structure surrounding the eye of harmony..which is at the base of the block math construct..

I can say honestly, I was not trying to do your cross section any disservice..nor was I honestly thinking about it when I decided to go with the round globe as a 2D tool to make the picture look 3D..

however, I can say, your work did inspire me..and inspires many others in the same type of design hobby I try to achieve..

Well, as long as it isn't a ripoff of my idea of the disorganized assortment of interconnected spheres, that's all I'm concerned about.

Excellent work, as always. :)

no worries bro, actually I think I finally have a new design which will not be anything like the one you see now.. I have been doing more research online, and have come to a new epiphany regarding what the Tardis is..

so be looking forward to showing that off soon..

I have now seen it, commented, and am VERY happy with what you came up with! You're right...they DID refer to it as a "capsule," which can only refer to the INSIDE of the TARDIS (since the outside can become literally anything, capsule or not). Nice catch!! :D

thanks man! yeah, like I said the new design I just uploaded is more inline with how I was thinking the ship would look on the outside..

there are key things we know about the exterior of the ship, from various novels, online sources, and the comics of the ship..
